Weekly News

Our Summer Fair took place last weekend and was magical! We were promised rain and thunder storms but instead were blessed with glorious sunshine throughout the day. There were beautiful craft stalls, games, a maypole dance by the children and we all enjoyed scrumptious food.

Thank you for all for coming!

The Last Two Weeks of Term

Children at New School participate in a wide range of experiential learning activities that give the learning additional meaning. Across these last two weeks of term (4th - 16th July), our classes will be out and about, enjoying the local woods and wildlife centres. As part of their Local Geography Main Lesson, our Class Four undertook a three day pilgrimage to Canterbury where they sang in the churches along the way and in the Cathedral.

Imagine a school...

that inspires a love of learning and has each child's wellbeing at its heart.

New School nurtures curious, compassionate, critical thinkers, ready to meet the challenges and embrace the opportunities within our changing world.

Community Events

Our community is important to us and we run many events for our families, friends and those who live locally. We have a weekly Yoga class in our Yurt. We run a Parent & Toddler and a Parent & Baby Group. We have a volunteer gardening team for those who would like to help us develop our site. We also run an inspiring programme of talks, workshops and events. These are all regularly updated on our Facebook page here. They are a great way to pop in, meet us and find out more.

Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.
