Stage 1: Informal Visit

Before you register, please check our our Fees and Admissions Policy.

As we will provide a distinctive approach to education, it is important that parents understand our methods and some of our educational philosophy. Experience has shown that pupils benefit if parents and the school have a mutual understanding of child development and our curriculum. Prior to registration parents can book an informal visit to the school site or join one of our Open Days which are advertised on the Home Page of the website.

Initial conversations are generally between parents and teachers without the child because we want to first ensure that the school is the right fit for your child and family.

Stage 2: Application

Once initial conversations have taken place, parents complete an Application Form, which should be returned with all the appropriate documentation and an application fee of £100 (for the first child) and £50 (for subsequent children). For children under 5 on the 31st August on the year of admission, there is no application fee.
If your child has attended a previous setting and is 5 or older, we will require full reports; attainment, behaviour and any SEN information. At any stage in the process, the School may request that an applicant has further SEN assessments before moving to the next stage.

After you submit an application, you will receive an acknowledgement and we will then set up a conversation between the Class Teacher and your child. Whilst your child is with the Class teacher, you as their parents, will speak with a member of the school leadership team and will also have a finance discussion with our Office Manager to ensure the fees can be met.
Following this, if your child is in class two or above, they will be invited to visit the appropriate class for between three and five full days. This enables the teacher and the visiting child to see whether this school setting would be the best place for your child. After this visit the class teacher will meet with the parents to review the three days.
