New School, Canterbury is a pioneering independent school for 3 to 11 year olds.

We are located on an idyllic site in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by a bio-dynamic farm, 10 minutes south of Canterbury.

New School provides a rigorous, pioneering education inspired by the internationally recognised Waldorf curriculum. The first Waldorf school was founded in Stuttgart in 1919. Today there are over 1,100 Waldorf schools and almost 2,000 Waldorf kindergartens in some 80 countries around the globe.  2019 marks 100 Years of Waldorf Education which is today one of the fastest growing independent educational movements across the globe.
